NAFSA : Association of International Educators
NAFSA, of which Foreign Credential Evaluations, Inc. is a long-time member, was founded in 1948 as the National Association of Foreign Student Advisers to promote the professional development of U.S. college and university officials responsible for assisting and advising the 25,000 foreign students who had come to study in the United States after World War II. Of the many programs and features of this multifaceted organization, NAFSA offers professional resources and development for educators working in admissions, recruitment, enrollment management, marketing, credential evaluation, intensive English programs, sponsored program administration and overseas advising, as well as a database for use in preparing evaluations.
